Online Timers, Stopwatch and Everyday Utilities
These everyday utilities open straight away in a browser tab: a stopwatch with laps, countdown timers and alarms, an age calculator, a days-between-dates calculator, and a time card calculator that adds up weekly hours and overtime. There are timers for specific jobs too, from Pomodoro and study sessions to HIIT, Tabata, plank holds, chess games and boiled eggs, plus a typing speed test.
Some tools use your device directly: record audio from your microphone, scan a QR code with your camera, measure on screen with a ruler you calibrate against a credit card, or check your screen resolution. Recordings and camera images are handled in your browser and are not uploaded.
The online notepad, to-do list, habit tracker and tally counter save to your browser's local storage on this device only. They do not sync between devices, and clearing your browsing data erases them, so copy or download anything you want to keep.

Stopwatch, timers and alarms
Time laps with the stopwatch, count down from a preset or to a date, set an alarm, or run several named timers at once for cooking and laundry. There is an egg timer and a two-player chess clock too.
Age, date and time calculators
Find your exact age in years, months and days, count the days or business days between two dates, total a weekly time card with lunch breaks and overtime, and check the time in several cities at once.
Typing tests and quick checks
Measure your typing speed in words per minute, test your reaction time, check how strong a password is, and see your screen resolution, viewport size and pixel ratio.
Pomodoro, study and workout timers
Work in 25-minute Pomodoro rounds or 50-minute study blocks, keep meetings to time while watching what they cost, or train with interval, Tabata, pushup and plank timers.
Notes, lists and writing helpers
Jot notes in a notepad that autosaves, keep a to-do list, track habits on a 30-day grid, count anything with named tally counters, or sketch on a whiteboard. You can also compare and merge two drafts, or estimate how long a text takes to read.
Record, scan and measure
Record audio or a quick voice memo from your microphone, scan a QR code with your camera or from an image, measure on screen with a calibrated ruler, and keep time with a metronome.
Random numbers and quotes
Pick a random number in any range, roll dice or draw numbers with no repeats, or get a random quote by category. For wheels, coin flips and other pickers, see the random generators.
Frequently asked questions
Will the timer still go off if I switch tabs or lock my phone?
Keep the tab open, and in front if you can. Browsers slow down pages in background tabs, and phones often pause a page when the screen locks, which can delay the alarm or stop it from sounding. For an alarm you cannot miss, leave the page open with the screen on and the volume up.
Where does the online notepad save my notes?
In your browser's local storage on the device you are using. Notes are not uploaded or synced, so they will not appear on another device, and clearing your browsing data or closing a private window removes them. Download a copy as TXT or Markdown to keep it. The to-do list, habit tracker and tally counter save the same way.
What is the Pomodoro technique?
It is a focus method: work for 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break, and take a longer break after four rounds. The Pomodoro timer runs the cycle for you. If 25 minutes feels too short, the study timer uses 50-minute blocks with 10-minute breaks.
Why does the screen ruler ask for a credit card?
Screens pack pixels at different densities, and a web page cannot read the physical size of your display. A standard bank card is 85.6 mm (about 3.37 inches) wide on every card, so matching the ruler to one once lets the screen ruler show true inches and centimeters on your screen.
